Well the only reason I wanted to go to Penang was for this. Since I m such a big fruit maniac, this place was like paradise. Learned so much and the fruit buffet wasn't bad either. Don approved. Cant believe we spent like 5 hrs at the arcade! Dam you chunli, just die already. Also tried frog, eel and stingray for dinner. Pretty good stuff, tastes like chicken! Geez can't believe we're already half done out trip...I guess time flies when you're having fun! Last...

Landed in penang without any hotel bookings. Trying to find a place to stay wasnt bad at all. Went to the top of Penang hill, highest point on the island, neat stuff but the view wasn't great since there was a lot of fog/smog. Got lost going to a temple, only took us 2 hrs to find our way back :-s cuz we refused to get scammed by the taxi drivers for a few $ more... It's the principle of it! Haha

Taxi'd it over to kuala Gandah to see the elephant orphanage. It's pretty cool, we got to feed, ride and bathe with the elephants. Taxi guys here are such scammers, don't believe what they say. They'll quote you like 2 or 3 times more. Oh yea... Lost my second pair of oakley minutes :( sorry Anna, you called it! It's ok, I guess we're not meant for each other minutes... Time to shop for some fakeleys...

This is probably worth it's own blog entry.. So we went over to the bazaar baru market in chow kit. It's an amazing flea market where the locals get their groceries. At first it was awesome to see all the fruits and veg, the as we went through the market, we started smelling something foul. That's when we realize we went into the seafood and meat sections. Oh god, it was horrible! There's every part of the animals just hanging around, heads, eyes, organs, fee...

The batu caves, pretty huge cave with a giant statue in the front. But more interesting was a huge flock of pigeons outside and they crowd around people! The monkeys run wild on the stairway up to the cave, they're so cute!
