We got up early today and went to the Ufizio which is a huge museum of paintings and sculpture mostly from the 15th century but with some older and younger. Some of the paintings have been in the museum since the early 1800's. Then we went to the Acadamia to see David. There is a lot of art and sculpture there as well but we did not stay long. We did a little bit of shopping and then picked up rental cars and drove to Venice airport. From the airport we caught a water taxi to Venice and our apartment, which is right on a canal. In the evening we wandered through Venice to St Mark's Square and had dinner. Todays was a holiday so it was not that busy.
