After our final interrail journey, we arrived at the little town of Augustow. We popped out for a quick evening stroll by the canal and although we'd just started to notice fallen leaves, the temperature felt much colder. Sure enough an LED display told us it was a mere 4°C. Krakow is the location of two of the first UNESCO world heritage sights, one being the beautifully well preserved old town of the city and the second being the salt mines founded in the 13th century. We managed to see both and were impressed with each. Krakow was a wonderful place to visit as the sights are lovely to behold.
