Well we finally set off about lunchtime after a visit from the plumber to unblock the sewer pipe! We much preferred the visit from Ness, Georgia and Lila - and the special treats they brought! We only made it to Tooleybuc tonight with about 20 stops along the - most of which were Brad checking the tyres, the van and everything else. We did have a big stop in Swan Hill at a great park on the mighty Murray. The park had not one, not two, but 3 playgrounds in it and a train line ran along the back. The boys were in heaven. Somewhat reluctantly we jumped back in the car and headed for Tooleybuc. Once we arrived the boys were delighted to reacquaint themselves with Lucy and Olly , while mum and dad had some grown-up time with Ange and Gav. After a big play outside we came in to a warm house and delicious dinner - so good in fact that Darcy had Gav's seconds and left poor Gav to go hungry. After that it was bath and bed. all five kids managed to get in the bath with Olly and Levi at either end with most of the room! Then it was off for our first night in the van! After a few stressful minutes in which we thought the trip would be over before it began, the boys finally settled for the night. Waking in the morning we realized we had all survived despite finding Levi wedged down the side of the mattress with his head on Darcy's toes! We had another quick catch up with the Spinks' before it was time to hit the road again. Thanks to Gav and Ange for a super start to our trip.
