This blog is short and sweet actually - we stayed in Palolem for just under 2 weeks - its such an amazing place for the traveller - cheap, gorgeous, hot and fun! We went to the silent disco on the Saturday night we were there - now that was most certainly an experience! We danced til dawn but instead of a nightclub with speakers you are in an open air area with headphones on that have 2 channels to switch between 2 DJ's - fantastic idea! This is a new event and it was only the third night they put it on due to the laws clamping down on music after 10pm! Great idea and good fun! I met a couple who were british that had lived there for 18 months and loving it!

We found a british bar, Smugglers Inn, that had a movie room at the back so hangover days spent out of the sun watching DVDs - another great idea! Haha!

Well we left Palolem in a taxi back to Baga, a 2 hour journey cost 1200RP between 4 of us, myself, Luce, Sarah and our buddy Aden - we met him through the guys we'd travelled down with. We stayed in Baga for 4 nights, 3 of those we treated ourself to a bit of luxury and got a villa with hot water, balcony and proper beds! Woo hoo it was fantastic and not really that expensive it was 2000RP a night so probably around 30 pound a night....not bad! Pics are in the album I think.

We said our goodbyes to Goa on Wed 6th Feb and headed to the airport about midday to fly up to Mumbai - what did it have in store for us! We had heard good and bad reports off numerous people so were a little wary of what faced us!
