I had a great time in Winnipeg visiting my sister Brice. We never really hung out as kids, her being 10 years older but the 4 days I've spent with her have really brought us closer. The Assinaboine river runs through Winnipeg and there is this little touristy place that's right in downtown Winnipeg on the river and it was very nice. I only ended up spending 1 day in Winnipeg and the rest of the time in Shilo, a military base outside of town where my sister lives. Although it's a small town I enjoyed myself there taking the dog for a run every day. I got my eyebrow pierced there, something that is kind of unlike me to do but I really like it. I'm just worried about infection on my travels. I'm back on the train today headed for Toronto. There should be plenty to see there
