The celebrations start off with a bang and a bang up dinner to boot. Met up with people that I hadn't laid eyes on for better than 40 years. Old friends are the best, try not to wait this long before touching base. However, it is a great feeling after so many years.

Well, this is actually day 2 of my trip up to my Hometowns 100 Anniversary celebrations that starts this coming Friday. But first I am stopping off at my son John's to visit with John, his wife Kate and my Grandson TJ in North Bay Ontario. The gateway to the north, They are actually are going to be attending the celebrations with me, so all in all it should be fun. It is later on in the day, and my son John's good friend Paul, dropped by for a quick visit. It is said that if you are having a party and it is in danger of flopping call Paul to liven it up. After having spent time with him in past visits, I would have to agree. Northern Ontarians know how to party. Well thats it for day 1 (2 actually). See you tomorrow.
