Loved catching up on all your travels. Very jealous I'm not there too. Photos are fab.
Ask Lockie if the scones were as good as my pumpkin scones?

Hi. Great to hear that you all enjoyed the Kings Canyon walks - I remember those 500 steps very well - a big challenge for us in 1998 in rather warm conditions. Hope you were able to get to the Desert Park in Alice Springs. If you didn't get to the School of the Air in Alice, a visit in Katherine is well worth it - Lachie will be able to see how children in the outback do their schooling, very similar to what he is doing. Emptied another 24mm from the rain gauge. Everything is green. Have spoken with Craig - he'll have Shadow when we go to shack for long w/end in June & then when we go to Mildura in the caravan. Chadd and Matt Carson did the 140 years Port celebration last Saturday. All well here.

Good morning. Pleased to read that you managed to do a walk into the Olgas - something we were not able to do as it was far too windy - apparently like Ayers Rock, can be extremely dangerous when windy. Will it be Kings Canyon next? Looks like Lyla is having a very comfortable journey on Dad's back. All well here. Have given Polly in Sweden your blog sites - will do the same for Bill and Bruce. Bill had his hip replacement on May 18th - doing OK.

Hello Travellers...
Looks like you are having a great trip & certainly much less mud than the moors of the Scottish Highlands. Check out Chambers Pillar just past Kulgara.

Make sure you visit the Woomera cemetary. An interesting place considering Woomera's nuclear history. And maybe a visit to the Westpac in-store at the Woomera council - you can go 10 pin bowling there too.
