After a few hours in our new home town of London, we met Squach and flew off to Valencia, Spain for 4 days of festivals and parties with Rawan and Haneen. We are rugged up in Kristy and Brendan's cozy sleeping bags after a few pints of cider and our first meal in the UK down at the local pub. They are so awesome for letting us crash at their place and store our bags here for a few weeks :) Feels bizarre to finally be here... i feel like we are still in sydney until a see a red double decker bus. Stop over in singapore for 8 hours... It's so nice and clean! They have a thing for massive fake trees..and the airport is so big, staff us those futuristic scooters... Troy's having a nap while a gawk over my weirdly swollen feet. might head over to duty free and spray some perfume on myself... 14 hour flight ahead. Eeek.

Well a bumpy start to the trip!! We booked standby (staff) tix with virgin but the plane was full so no seats for us.... No matter! after help for our friends and family, we found a Singapore airlines flight to London the same day. $3500 later, we are boarding the plane and off on our adventure. Woohoo!
