We hadn't sussed out the moutain biking the day before and with soo many people around it was all getting a bit much so..... We left Riocaud and felt a great sense of freedom, we had worked really hard especially Rod as his nature can't leave a project unfinished and this can be to the detriment of our own time and things we want to do. A day to play so off we go to Saint Emillion one of the principal red wine areas of Bordeaux - Pascal is highly excited today visiting all these vines!! The history of Saint Emillions goes back to prehistoric times and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so I am expecting good times for my camera!!  There are Romanesque churches & ruins stretching along steep and narrow streets. Mmmm its been an interesting 5 days, Rod has worked really hard putting up a fence for our helpx hosts, worked more than is necessary and we have dined with cats on the table. There are 2 Burmese and 2 moggies, there is a class system too, only the Burmese are allowed to dine with us. Great drive from The Basque to The Drodogne area of France, we just kept driving with only a stop in a small town to stretch our legs and to look at more old buildings - the inspector is still amazed how nothing is straight!!
