Well here I am sat wondering where to start.... Visa applications are getting sorted, by that I mean I know where to find them on the web and download then to complete.
I'll be going for a PIO card (people of Indian Origin) which measn that I don't need to get a visa, and have the luxuries that any Indian national has... such as cheaper entry into many places and the chance to get to places that we may not otherwise have the chance to do.
I know it begs the question "What About Col???" Well for those of that have visited India will know that the levels of beaucracy vary from "Paperwork, what paperwork?" to "Let's see how difficult we can be over this trivial issue of wearing flip flops in the monsoon rain?" and know that the level required is not always related to the level of importance, so I'm hopeful that we'll be fine. I know, I know, it soundfs crazy, but its worth a try... and beforte you ask, No I'll never leave Col looking on from one of the Lakshadweep islands as I sail onto one of the many Indian-only islands.
Well there's 62 days to go so better start planning - got the books, the lists and the maps, now just need a plan.....
