So here i am in Malaysia! 5 weeks left before i am back in the UK, and now time really is whizzing by pretty fast. Last week Sarah and me got back together for a last week of travelling before she left this morning, off solo again for a few days before flying home from KL... China seems a lightyear ago now! And here i am sitting in Chinatown in Penang which is pretty crazy!

Our sleeping patterns have been all over the place and in the last 4 days i've had the combined sleep of about 9 hours; NOT GOOD! Something to do with buses and a plane yesterday with -20 degree air con on... So i am hoping for a good nights sleep fairly soon!

So i ended up spending the best part of 10 days travelling with some Ozzy mates and a couple of Canadian guys.. we all went our separate ways afte the Full Moon Party, except myself and Khoa; a guy from my diving course back in Koh Tao ... We ended up in the same place... and he's twisted my arm into heading East a little earlier than i had planned - so we are going to the Perhentian Islands tonight and gonna hopefully get our Advanced Scuba licenses there!! :) I really wanna get some wreck dives in and maybe some night dives; and by qualifying further i can then dive to 30metres! Yay! Who knows i might try my hand at diving photography too!

So those of you who have facebook - or have spoken to my mother will probably be aware i got my tongue pierced. On Koh Phangan. Right before the Full Moon Party. - I managed to last 4 days, but with a swollen tongue stopping me from a. speaking (most importantly!) and b. eating proper food, i got fed up with it and took it out when i got to Bangkok after another uncomfortable sleeper bus. A ghetto sleeper bus with that; i am not joking, we were all standing in some layby for this bus to turn up and heard music, Loud music... Sarah said jokingly "is that coming from our bus?!" - she spoke too soon, it was... And there a tradition Thai Kareoke/Disco bus rolled up, in the black of the night (we'd been waiting around for 6 hours at this point) multi-coloured lights flashing, music blaring, and not to mention the very sexy shocking pink curtains and seats (they love their pink here!) - It looked like a victim from something off Pimp-my-Ride.

So in my last few weeks i intend to get as much done as possible; hopefully gonna try my hand at Batik Painting and maybe get some other courses going on if my budget will allow it... Also thinking of heading over to Borneo; will keep you posted on what happens... Toodles!
