I have always loved travelling and decided this year would be the best yet. It all begins in March when we're off to Sri Lanka. My hubby wants to watch the test cricket. Crickets not my thing really, however a holiday to a beautiful country is!

On our return from Sri Lanka in April we then plan to spend some fabulous weekends away in the UK. We love the great outdoors and here in the UK we have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world so why not make the most of it. So far in our plans are walking the Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, The Peak District, The Lake District and Snowdonia.

Next on the agenda is the one I'm really excited about. In September we will be spending one month driving accross Europe to include, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.

Then as a finale to the year the hubby and I are planning on learning how to ski or snowboard, havn't decided which yet. Once we have mastered the basics then we plan on jetting off to France or Austria to test our newly learnt skills.

So that's my plan for the year ahead. I'll try and keep my blog as up to date as I can, internet access alllowing. Let the fun begin!!
