12h00 - George arrives. As we merrily gandered through the airport to the metro station, George, armed with his shiny iPhone 4S of which Josh was extremely jealous considering he had his stolen out here, got a bit trigger happy and took photos of EVERYTHING. Obviously noone was complaining about this. Seeing as a private room with 5 beds in a nice downtown hostel costs a whole 30p more than my one bed student accommodation flat in the middle of nowhere, we obviously chose to "sack" paying such an extortionate price and secretly squeeze into my room together. After hearing about the world's most incredible dumpling restaurant from the girls, which is just down the road, we headed there for lunch. In reality the dumplings were pretty appalling. Plan for the day was to head to Yuyuan gardens then walk through the French Concession. What actually happened was 4 and a half hours in the fake market! 14 pairs of beats, 10 longchamp bags, 6 snapbacks, 5 wallets, 2 rolexes, and a lot more fake stuff and we were satisfied. We headed back to Josh's student accommodation for some street food dinner. Some how a few litres of 56% baijo appeared on our table and the next thing we new we were watching the sun rise from the deck of Shanghai's most famous club - Bar rouge. At 9am, the time we were supposed to wake up for our train, after a fleeting visit to a dubious dive bar named Beaver…we arrived home.
