Day 1 - On 25 Dec 2008, I took 8:30am flight which departed from Singapore and reached Hong Kong at around 1230pm. The very first thing to do was to buy an Airport Express ticket which cost HK300 for adult. The ticket covered to and fro MTR trip via Airport Express and 3 days unlimited MTR ride. After getting the ticket, took the Airport Express and alighted at Hong Kong station. From Hong Kong station, I took a H2 Airport transfer bus to go to Regal Hong Kong hotel. After checking into the room and took a short rest, I had a crab meat rice for lunch at Azabu Sabu. Then I took a MTR from Causeway bay to Mong Kok station. I spent a few hours at Ladies Street which sold imitation goods and then took the MTR back to Causeway bay. Next stop was Sogo Departmental Store and bought a swim suite for my niece for HKD90. It was extremely cheap as the original price was > HKD200. For dinner, I bought sashimi and sushi at supermarket and went back to rest at hotel.
Day 2 - In the morning, explored the swimming pool and gym in the hotel. The swimming pool was on the rooftop (35 floor?) and the view was fantastic. The gym looked good too but I didn't have the chance to use it because there're too many other things to do. Went to Ajisen for lunch. The variety on the Hong Kong's Ajisen menu was much more than Singapore. The first stop today was to visit Sham Shui Po, which had many small stores along the road selling all sort of things. Second stop was FaYuan Street near Prince Edward MTR. That place was similar to the Ladies street that I went yesterday.Third stop was Dong Chung where there's a BIG Factory outlet. There're timberland, Niki, Adidas, etc. But I still find the price more expensive than the factory outlets in US. Had dinner at Food Republic and then headed back to Hotel.
Day 3 - First stop was to go Fortress Hill MTR to take a look at the residential area in HongKong and found a d*** on Port Factory outlet in a small corner. Second stop was Tsim Sha Tsui which had many shops along the road selling clothes. I didn't buy anything because all were winter clothes and not suitable for the weather in Singapore. Third stop was to visit the Food Fair at Causeway bay. Bought a lot of Shan Zha tea which cost 100HKD for 9boxes. And finally, bought 2 hairy crabs near my hotel and spent nearly 2 hr finishing it. Yummy.
Day 4 - Wanted to visit Disney in the first place but decided not to enter after reaching the MTR stop. This was because by the time I reached there, time was already 2pm and the sky was foggy (risk of not able to look at firework clearly). The entrance fee cost HKD350 for one adult on Sunday, which was quite expensive. Decided to skip Disney to put the money into better use. ~ Not really keen in Disney actually because already been to Disney in Tokyo and LA.Then went to Qing Yi which was a few stops away from Disney MTR. There was a shopping mall and spent around an hour working around. Next, was to Sheng Shui Pu again to buy something from the shops. Then visited Langham place near Wong Kok MTR to have dinner at Genki Sushi (there're more variety as compared to Singapore outlet). Walked around at Ladies Street again and went back to Causeway bay for dessert at World Trade Center. Finally, returned to Hotel and rest.
Day 5 - Finally, last day in HK. Went to the jade market near Yiu Ma Di MTR and bought a few jades on behalf of friends. Then walked around causeway bay. Proceed to Airport in the evening and visited the foodcourt. Bought a few packets of cookies and then board the flight.
