Having just accomplished a big move from Berlin, Germany, back to New York City - and with the holidays fast approaching - I (and my bank account) don't foresee any grand excursions in my immediate future. However, my perpetual wanderlust must be sated!

Therefore, since I've been away from New York for the past four years, I plan to take this opportunity to explore my 'new'

old town with a fresh eye; reacquaint myself with favorite old haunts, and discover new places and people. Bolstered by the inspiring curiosity and adventuresome spirit of my intrepid sidekick, Bun, I will set out to map this familiar yet foreign territory, and report back my findings to you.
