Well today was a lot more chilled out than yesterday after the great wall treck. We got up about 10 and walked like 2 miles for some breakfast. then went to the forbidden city but didnt ennd up goin in since it was well too busy so we are going to go tomorrow morning to beat the crowds! we went to an art exibition thing. was really really good. Great Fall of Skiv. We went on a 3 hour minibus journey to a remote part of the great wall of china today. Theres a big area of the wall that was restored in the 1950's, and is packed full of tourists and comercials and apparently has the soul of a wet newpaper. Well, first of all, we are tired. We didnt sleep much on the plane to beijing (10 hours), mainly due to a chinese woman who was being deported back to china and really didnt want to go. Much screaming and shouting and presumably cursing (all in chinese). Got to the airport, our lift wasnt there and the buses wernt running at 5.30am so we had to pay extra for a random taxi. Suprisingly, we are still alive. No seatbelts in back seat, no speedo, no rev count...
