¡Hola Familia y Amigos!

Oooookay, so I've been here for a full 2 weeks and I just completed my third day of Intense Spanish Course at AIL MADRID. I had signed up for a week long course and have decided to sign up for another 2 weeks. It is located in to the east of central Madrid, but it takes me literally 6 minutes (más or menos) to get to the center, or Puerta de Sol (Door of/to the Sun)!

My head is currently spinning as I just finished a social/cutural activity learning about the different latin and hispanic music dances, history and current events. That was after my 4 hours this morning of grammar and verbage lessons. And it is AAALLLL (Yes, I'm talking every last drop) in Spanish... no English speaking here, unless it's with the director! I'm comparing it to tough love right at the moment. When all I really want to do is stomp my feet and talk to someone without having to spend an extra 5 minutos re-wording a sentence in my head, lol. But I know this is what is for the best and will soooooooooo pay off in the long run! Besides, I don't think I've been silent this long in my life!!

At the moment it is 16:00 (4 pm) my time, and I will be heading out of here to go meet my family and sign up for dance classes.... YESSSSSSS! I will definitely be taking Flamenco and may sign up for Sevillanes (sp). Sevillanes is a popular dance that is fancied in the south of Spain. I figured it couldn't hurt since I do plan on spending some time there. I've heard nothing but amazing stories from everyone who has ever been. I figured I'd add my opinion to the growing masses.

So that's the update folks. I have met people through my classes and will be attending an "Intercambio Night" at Café Madrid tomorrow evening. Intercambio means exchange.. meaning there will be A LOT of Spanglish going on, lol! I am told to be careful when looking at adds for people to have "language intercambio" with, as some are looking for "after hour intercambio".... mmm, I think I'll pass! Also this weekend I will be going out into the city to celebrate a classmates Birthday!! It should be nothing short of interesting! 

I will attempt at being a better "blogger", but I'm asking for forgiveness in advance if I'm not as regular as my intentions!!
