Today we went to the White House and gave ourselves a tour. I found out that Abraham Lincoln was assasinated. After the White House we went to the US Mint (Bureau of Engraving) to see them make money. We saw a few million dollars.

After the mint we saw the Jefferson Memorial while walking by the cherry trees. Then we went to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. It looked like a piece of stone was cut out to make him. Then we went to the Lincoln Memorial and saw the reflection pool beside the monument.

After that we went to the American Museum of Art and saw some cool stuff. Then we came back to the International Guest House where we are staying. I thought I'd make grandma happy and I fixed her dinner.
