As I hit these last couple days of traveling, I find it best to just relax. To take sometime to myself and soak up the serene experiences I have been blessed with, and to also reflect and learn from the trials and tribulations I experienced during this adventure.
I must say, that the lazy days have been the highlight of my trip. The eight days in equatorial Mancora, Peru, spent either in a black laced hammock or doing yoga and meditating on the warm sand on the beach. Or, the two weeks spent in Lima, Peru sitting on the couches of my hosts during the routine Lima overcast skies writing articles like this. They have rechargered me.
This would have to be one of the major lessons I have learned on this trip. To always remember to take time to yourself and just relax.
So, never forget to take the time to pick up a book, take some paper and pen/pencil, and spend the days reading, writing, drawing, or doing whatever gets you back to your peak of tranquility. It's your time to reboot you and remember what life is all about: The pursuit of happiness.
