First full day in South America, Columbia and its capital, Bogota…time to explore. The Americans, Brian, Jake and Dave took us by means of a local bus to the old town of La Candelaria. We had a great day, spending most of our time in a truly Columbian bar playing a game of Tejo. Tejo, Columbia's national sport, involves throwing a metal disc at four small triangles filled with gun power. It may not sound like much but it was great fun, especially when combined with our first taste of South American beer.
