Next stop we head into eastern Utah to the Arches National Park located just outside of Moab.
First day, we take a ramble to see the Delicate Arch itself, just a short walk along the sandstone trail but again, mostly uphill, my thighs are hating me. Seems pretty tough and I feel so un fit, but I'll just blame the 30 degree heat. The sand stone Arch itself was pretty awesome to see. This trailhead is hugely popular so there where people everywhere photo bombing our snaps but we still managed to get a few, I can imagine it to be a great sight at sunrise/sunset too.
Second day, Paul takes on a Moab bike trail in the 34 degree heat for his last ride of the trip before the bike makes it way home. The heat is so strong, there is barely any wind and if there is, its warm. Good on him for going out, bonkers yes, but still, last ride and he enjoyed it.
Finally its treat time, no pasta! no pattys! (we swapped weiners for pattys to mix things up a bit, pattys are mini burgers I guess) we went out for tea!! :) Moab itself was lined with open front restaurants, be rude not to try one out. Typically I have salmon and Paul has a massive great big steak, best food we have had during the whole trip. All of it...amazing! We are missing normal food a bit, trying to budget all the time but we reeeally appreciate treat days now.
