We reach San Cristobal, all be it a surprisingly un-painful journey. We decided on an overnight travel to save us a day's exploring and a nights keep. After having such a great time in Oaxaca we instantly decided we didn't want to be in San Cristobal and wanted to go back, a good sign when you don't want to leave each place. Arriving at 7am and not being able to check in till 1pm we had a bit of time to burn so perfect excuse to find somewhere for plenty of pan...

So, with one failed attempt to get to Hierve El Agua we have finally figured it out and it was worth all stress to get here. We initially planned to arrange a tour with the hostel but after being told it was rubbish and do it independently we went for that approach instead but we had to use our heads which was hard work and hurt. 1st instruction- find the bus stop... Cor! Long winded bus ride and it was only just over 4 hours, god help us on our next journey- an 11 hour overnight stint to San Cristobal!! We passed through only a couple small towns within the whole journey being most of the land was dedicated to large crop fields; you see the families and workers there picking the produce to sell. Our hostel was only a 20 minute walk from the bus station so we choose to save money and have some exercise walking our heavy ba...

Just to make this hostel we have checked in to even better...there is a lady selling cakes from a table right at the entrance!! Everything, literally everything is right on our doorstep here. We choose wisely and go for two little cinnamon rolls costing the whole 6 peso each, they were good but could've eaten about 50, save the bigger cakes for tomorrow. The Puebla main square is just down the road from us which has made things really easy, just a 2 minute walk...

Check out morning upon us already so taking advantage of the free breakfast buffet is a must- 500 peso worth if we can! still not over it, ha!- more fat fluffy hot cakes with maple syrup, papaya, melon and green tea and compliment where its due it was pretty yummy but free food always is #BITTER #GETOVERIT.
