Guess you're on the downward track now. Been missing you, and sorry I won't be in the UK when you return. In between job hunting I hope to see yopu here in sunny Doha - a mere 40 degree climate at the moment, and it's getting too hot to sit by the pool during the day!

I'm not sure exactly which date you will be heading back to the UK - can't believe that your trip has passed so quickly - but wanted to drop you a note before you do just to say that it's been great following all your experiences even if you've made the rest of all feel very jealous! The photos have been great and it's clearly been the trip of a lifetime.

I'm out of the office next week - my parents are here at the moment - so won't be checking my e-mail much. Peter and I are doing fine and busy as usual. I was back in Glasgow last weekend as a surprise for my Mum's retirement which was great and also managed to catch up with Bindi and Gina.

K&M, enjoy the rest of your trip and can't wait to speak to you when you get back, unless of course you decide not return......

Karen y Michael, hola como estan y por donde estan? Espero que siguen con los cardones (cacti). Les quedo alguno por ver? Gaby y yo estuvimos mirando sus ultimas fotos y concluimos que ambos son muy atraidos por el simbolo falico de este tipo de vegetacion. Nos parece que quizas estan pasando mucho tiempo juntos!!!!!!

Just looked at your last set of pics. and it all still looks wonderful. Lucky you! I can't believe that you only have a month or so to go and for you both it must have passed even more quickly. Continue to have a great time although I don't think that should be too hard to do. Peter and I are doing fine here and busy with work, etc. and trying to plan for the summer hols. but finding it difficult to juggle all the things that we want to do.

Define a shock to the system...Antarctica to Antigua in one foul swoop. Feels very strange not to be wearing those sexy padded waterproofs whilst wading through penguin poo, but variety is the spice of life, and now it's time to tackle the sail back to Blighty.
