Trailor on Tour
As of 2 days ago we moved out to the coastal resort of Sihanoukville and are currently ensconced in the Malibu Bungalows on Serendipity beach.
My little bungalow has a balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful big bay, as you can see from the photograph. The sunsets are spectacular (yes there may well be more sunset photos on the way!) and at night there are hundreds of twinkling lights on the sea from the local fishing boats that go out at dusk. Jealous yet? Is it grey and dismal back home yet?
Maria and Alan went diving for 2 days as it was their 1st anniversary and I was left to my own devices, which included hiring a moped which I promptly fell off. More humiliating than painful, although I do have a nice bruise on my leg. Luckily I was only doing about 10 mph!
I also visited the local market and bought a little antique tea pot thing, or so I thought. I was reliably informed later that it is in fact an opium smoking pot! Well you live and learn.
We will probably stay here for a couple more days and then head back to Phnom Penh for the coronation on Friday.
Until then.........Sherry xx
