Girls long weekend away in Genoa!!
Travelling with Natalie!
We arrived in Italy on Friday lunchtime. Dumped out stuff off at our hotel, Continental Genoa and headed into the town to investigate.
We walked down narrow cobbled streets, with small nooks and crannies leading off of them and finally found the harbour.
The harbour mainly consists of restaurants and bars, but also has the Aquarium, the largest in Europe.
The Continental Hotel is fairly good location, great rooms, great views and very comfortable.
Saturday we visited Bossacette, a small fishing village outside of Genoa. Not a lot to do there apart from walk the ever lasting promenade.
Don't buy a can of sprite here, not unless you're willing to pay €2.50!!
Saturday night we strolled the streets of Genoa. Starting in the Elvis Bar, drinking Mojitos and Beer! Very nice.
We fell upon a great bar by the cathedral that had a live band! Very entertaining!
Sunday we got up and strolled to the Aquarium. Which was great.
We also went into Piazza de la Ferrari and boarded the City Bus.
We went past Christopher Colombus' house.
Monday morning we had breakfast at the hotel, packed and made our way to the airport.
