Townsend Travels
Today we took a private cooking class outside Rome in a small medieval village called Toffia. Toffia was right out of a movie, everything I picture in my mind as Italy. We spent the Afternoon making a torta, potatoe gnochi, and a delious tomato sauce using boiled, peeled and seeded tomatoes. It never occured to me to make sauce that way but it was delious. After lunch we visited a working monastic village before taking the train back to Rome.
