Saturday - I went to Melissa's party. We first got Melissa a present, a hat. I got one as well. Then we went swimming in Melissa's pool that felt like an iceberg. Then we cooked marshmallows and Melissa opened her presents. I helped to keep the fire going. I got a little necklace. 

Sunday - We went to Pirongia. First we went to Raglan and helped Jackie with the house. Then we went for the walk over Pirongia. I saw a chicken cross the road. 

Saturday - We drove past Waitomo to the Natural Bridge (magapohue) and walked on a boardwalk through a gorge with a stream running through it. Then there was this great big slab of rock across the gorge. The view was wonderful with all the greenery. When we got over to the other side of the bridge (underneath it) we were on farmland with holey rocks around. We clambered over rocks. We also saw fossils of giant mussels. Sunday - We decided to go to Waihi, but when we got to the beach it was too windy and cold. So we went to a hot spring which was very very very hot. Then we went on a walk and just about got lost! But we got back in time to see a small geyser erupt, very small. Too bad. 

Saturday - We went to Auckland and to Kelly Tarltons museum where I watched penguins through a glass window through another glass window. Then we took a little bus ride through the penguin sanctuary and saw the four new born King penguins. Then the ride took us in a little room where there were statues of seals on ice. Then a mechanical killer whale popped out of the water with a seal in its mouth! Then the ride took us through a whole bunch of flags, then we got...
