just a quick entry...whilt i'm waiting for the overnight train to take me to Bangkok. Since i last worte on here, i spent a few day in Penang-went on a half day tour visiting the houses on stilts, a couple of temples, penang hill, coffee and chocolate tasting. then finished the day off with a very cultural girlie trip to the cinema to see pirates of the carribean 3! had a foot refelxology session (took a while to get used to the pressure-but found it really interesting how they can relate your body parts to certain areas of your feet!), tried more of the local cusine (and yes! i ate snails!!). After penang we crossed over the border into Thailand and spent the night in NST-absolutely poursed it down when we arrived and wasn't a great deal to do there so we ended up going to a shadow puppet museum and watched a show-puppets all hand-made from cowhide-so detailed and beautiful! Last few days have been spent on Bohput beach on the island of ko samui, absolutely beauitful island-gave us a chance to just relax on the beach and by the pool. The resort we stayed at was lovely-ride onto the beach and in a quite area of the island but within easy reach of the main hub. Spent on day out on a boat snorkelling and going around ang thong national marine park. had a thai massage-i didn't know i could bend my legs and arms into some of those positions!!!

well you'll all be glad to see i've finally got round to adding a few piccies onto the website-not many though i'm afraid-sent all the cd's full of photo's back home-need to lighten the load in my bag so i can do lots of shopping in bangkok!!!! :o) xxx
