So Hue was an interesting little place. We only had one day here so we made the most of it and got on an all day scooter tour. Our group took off to visit several monuments, pagodas, and museums covering Vietnam's rich history and agriculture. Was quite neat to see how they grow and harvest the rice, fishing, etc. Went out for one of the guys birthdays that night but unfortunately I got crook and had to cut it short. Up early the next day for a four hour bus ride to Hoi Ann.
I think so far, Hoi Ann is one of the cities I've enjoyed most. It's a really laid back town with large markets and plenty of tailors. Got a nice light pair of pants which have since been ideal for some of the trains and buses we've been on. Very comfortable. Had a Vietnamese cooking lesson here as well which I'm looking forward to putting to good use. Went to a beach party one night which was a bit of fun. The free taxi van to the beach was highly amusing. They crammed our group of 6 in with about 12 Norwegian's into this one van. All in all, everything going along smoothly and we are having an awesome time.
