We had to settle overnight as we couldn't find anything. Yesterday was extreme and after some considerable time we hit civilisation. This morning, very early we unsettled and walked back to ST elm. We managed to get accommodation for 3 nights. Phew. Aircon what a fantastic thing yes and beer!! We struggled with the weight of the rucksacks and the heat.
