We had to settle overnight as we couldn't find anything. Yesterday was extreme and after some considerable time we hit civilisation. This morning, very early we unsettled and walked back to ST elm. We managed to get accommodation for 3 nights. Phew. Aircon what a fantastic thing yes and beer!!
We struggled with the weight of the rucksacks and the heat. It is in the 80's. helped some Germans find the path as they could not work out where they were. I nearly fell but tony managed to grab my rucksack - luckily I was attached to it ! Anyhow we are both having a lovely time in st.elm. Love to all. Xx

Mum Is that you under the white hat Lesley? Looks good and spectacular scenery. Ideal to have a base to leave rucksacks while you go for a more relaxing walk otherwise sounds too much like hard work. Either way am sure you are having fun. Love Mum and Gary x x
