11/1/2011 Jack's 23rd birthday. Early rise before saying our thanks and goodbyes and leaving for Ilha de Mocambique (Island of Mozambique). 10/1/2011 Another very sticky sleep due to the heat but I'm pretty used to it by now. Jack I don't think finds it very comfortable but you've got no choice if you come out here unless you can afford luxury 5-star! Less mozzy bites than usual which was a plus as well! 9/1/2011 Had a quick breakfast before my first open water dives in which I performed all the skills quite comfortably, just a lot deeper underwater! On the two dives though I actually got to see the marine life and saw a big octopus changing colour, loads of fish (including the poisonous and difficult-to-see stonefish), cuttlefish, pufferfish, eels and more. 8/1/2011 It was raining again and their was the weirdest mist hanging over the bay. It made for a boring morning so I made myself hot chocolate for the first time in ages. It was good apart from making it with UHT milk instead of some nice fresh creamy milk from home!
