Sorry it has been so long since i have last updated this but we haven been able to get on a decent computer. So we had an excellent night in sydney with many beers drank and a very sore head the next morning. Our next port of call after Sydney was Byron Bay, we had an excellent hostel right on the beach and spent the days surfing and sunbathing and the evenings drinking and partying, a tough life! On one of the days surfing i had a bit of an accident falling off the board and smashing my face on the sea floor cue a quick trip to hospital a balck eye a cut nose and to cut lips it did not look attractive! After byron we headed to a place called Surfers Paradise for a couple of days. Surfers was good but not really our favourite place, it reminded me more of Falaraki or somewhere like that. After two days there we headed to Brisbane hoping for good things and we werent dissapointed. When we arrived we headed out and explored the city which has no awesome features but has a reallly good feel about it. After that we headed to the bar/club which the hostel has a special deal with and from about 5pm sat outside while the djs played some awesome dance tunes. The premiership was being shown at 12pm here due to time differences so we were all aiming to stay up till then, joel managed till 10pm and me and brennan watched the first half before falling asleep in the bar and deciding it was bed time- it had been a long day. Today we awoke bleary eyed but pretty excited as we were heading to australia zoo made famous as it was steve irwins zoo. We had a really awesome time seeing loads of crocs, tigers, elephants, kawalas and kangaroos. It was really good and we watched a load of the shows. We then got back on the train and headed back to Brisbane, tonight we are spending in watching a few films and getting an early night before heading up to Rainbow Bay where we are going to Fraser Island.
