Monday 4th April
Had Gr 2 till 11 today, they are never quiet :/ Becca and flic took them for 1 period each which helped. Then at 11 they were supposed to be picked up by someone, or so I'd been told, so when they didn't, i was stuck, becuase i had things to do that period and I could't find anyone to take them. In the end another member of staff took them and had them at the back of their room. In eve had choir rehearsal, they are so rude sometimes, never listen and talk during rehearsal.
Tuesday 5th April
Good day today, only had 2 lessons, 1 musc and 1 maths. Then I just sat in the sun and played the grand piano for the rest of the school day. Then at 18:00 we had rehearsal.
Wednesday 6th April
I can't really remeber what happened today, forgott to write it down, so nothing worth noting can of hapened.
Thursday 7th April
Today I had no lessons :) So I stayed in school till first break then went back to the hostel and slept for 2 hours, then looked at holiday stuff. In the eve I went up into the mountains with Becca and Wiehan and watched the most amazing sunset, it looked like the whole horizon was on fire. Then we did a bit of rock climbing which was good. Just as I got to the bottom I got a massive stabbing pain in my chest, you can imagine what I thought it was. If it had happened while I was climbing then it would have been interessting. It stayed for about 30min, and I was all ready to go and get an x-ray the next morning but after an hour I couldn't feel anything anymore, nor the next day, so I left it. Just a real bad post op pain I think.
Friday 8th April
Another great day. Had no lessons again so after break went and found some luke warm water for a bath at the hostel. Then I wrote a letter to the tennis club, (I still need to post though) Afternoon rehearsal as usuall as well. Then I got invited to a Braii at Davids. First we finalised all our April Holiday which is going to be amazing. The Braii was delicious a usual and I also met some new people who were staying at Davids. Really nfriendly people, we're staying with them for one night on our return trip in the April holiday. Great Evening.
Saturday 9th April
A day of nothing really, slept till 11, then stayed in the hostel all day and made a video of all the pictures I ve taken so far.
Sunday 10th April
Woke up with no power today as they were working on the power lines or something. It didn't come back on again untill about 20:30 :/ The kids in the hostel go crazy when theres no power so its an interesting time. Then we went for another braii at the house Flic is house sitting, just me, Becca, Flic and David. The food was great, I had a massive piece of meat on the bone, about 2-3 inches thick, mmmm, all cut of the cow by David at the farm :) Was a really good eveing. The highlight of the day was the phonecall I got in the morning from mum saying that shes coming out in July for a week :D Thank you Granny and Grandad :)
Monday 11th April
Had 1 lesson today so was ok, the rest of the day I just played piano and drank coffee, which by the way I swear has no caffine in :/ I might have to buy my own. In the afternoon I went to rehearsal at the chrch to help with the junior choir and also to watch.
Tuesday 12th April
Today was actually quite good. I had all Megans lessons today as she was at the church with eveyone else rehearsing. So I had 2 Gr 8 classes, 1 Gr 7 and 1 Gr 9. Overall the classes were ok, but there were quite an number of students in each class that were an absolute pain. One boy in Gr completely ignored everything I asked him to do, kept talking and wouldn't take his cap off, then at the end when I jept him behind to talk to him he just sat there smirking. He now has a demerit. Then in the afternoon I did a bit of shopping, then played cricket with some of the boys for about 30 min. The first ime I didn't get any runs, but the next time I got 3 4's and a 6 :D then I came back and worked on Ben's Birthday card for an hour and a half before diner. Then after dier I worked on Ben's card for another 45 min, then got some movies from Becca. I now have, Avatar, all the Pirates of the Caribean, Salt, Karate Kid, Night at the museum 2, Finding nemo, Madagasgar 2 and more :D So I watched Night at the Museum 2 then :) Good day.
Although there are the things that bug me here, certain things have happend this week that are making things seemalot better, and I'm getting to know some of the students more which is helping. Passion Play is going to be amazing, I'm just slightly dissapointed that I'm not really involved in it. I play the drums in 1 song, and am helping with all the costumes behind the scenes, but I would have liked to have played my clarinet more :/ Anyway should be still be awesome. Its dropping colder here now, especcially in the mornings nd evenings, the day is still warm most of the time, but only about 25 degrees.
I'll put my plans for the April holiday up soon, maybe tonight.
