Well..................arrived in Sydney in one piece. Travelling was pretty much 48 hours from leaving home to getting to Bondi. LAX is easily the worst airport I have ever been in and having to spend 6 hours in the hell hole really didnt do me any good! After checking in 6 hours before my flight (from LA to Auckland) so that I could get a seat with extra leg room I was pretty pissed to discover that there was going to be a mother with a screaming baby beside me for the next 13 hours! I noticed there was a few space seats on the plane so I told one of the air hostesses that I'd move seats so the mother/baby combo could have 2 seats and the extra space. The trolly dolly was so impressed at my thoughtfullness that she bumped me into business class for the entire flight.....a fully reclining leather chair and leg rest, smoke salmon and beef for food etc....BUSINESS CLASS....DEFO THE WAY TO CROSS THE PACIFIC!

Got to the hostel in Sydney yeaterday morning and met up with Mark, Vick, Fionn and Sheila. We're all staying at Noah's Beachhouse which is on Bondi Beach. Des and Rob have rented a house on Bondi and are only 5 mins away from us.

We went into Sydney yesterday afternoon and got the ferry over the harbour to Manly. The Opera house is pretty spectacular (see photos) and the city itself is f***ing MASSIVE! After strolling around Manly for a while we got the ferry back to the city and bussed to back to Bondi. I was pretty knackered at this stage after being on the go for the guts of 60 hours so I decided to do the sensible thing and went out on the piss! After numerous jugs of Snakebite I was defo a little worse for wear and absolutely wrecked!
