It was a bit of a disaster when we got off the boat from the Perhentian islands. We thought we would be able to just get a taxi to the next jetty in Merrang and get on a another boat to Redang. We flew from KL into Kota Bharu from there it was a 1 hour taxi drive to the jetty where we got a speed boat to Perhentian Besar. We had a few drop offs on the Islands and they all looked lovely. So here we are in Pattaya, the taxi driver brought us direct to the hotel which was great that we didn't have the hassle of being dropped off and getting another taxi or Songthaew. We got a VIP bus to Rayong and had a really comfortable journey. I had down loaded Pride & Prejudice onto my IPad so enjoyed the 6 hour journey engrossed in Mr Darcy which was good news for Lee as he could then nod off as and when he pleased and he didn't have me fidgeting and talking him to death like I normally do.
