Hi Everyone (well whoever is still bothering to read this nonsense!)

Earlier in the week we went to Surfer's Paradise, but it was too late in the day to do any surfing but I had lots of fun getting totalled by the huge waves (my back did not appreciate it mind you). It was actually a lot better than I expected, though Blackpool is our local beach yardstick!!

Yesterday we went to Australia Zoo, the home of the late Steve Irwin. It was awesome! As well as the Crocs, there was this huge Kangaroo paddock that you could walk right through and feed the roos. Pics are in the galleries. There were lots of messages from fans and friends at the Zoo and it was obvious that he was still 'around'. As we'd heard that the weather was going to turn yesterday we both wore jeans... and it turned out to be the hottest day for ages. Idiots.

Today we went to the Castlemaine XXXX brewery. yes, I know it's s*** but it was a 5 min walk from our hostel. The tour itself cost 10 quid each and it was really good and we saw lots of things and it was really interesting. Included in the tenner were 4 beers each. OK so XXXX is a bit s*** but we could have a beer called XXX Sparkling Ale which was actually really good! Still, Little Creatures is still the beer of choice for the young man of today... ;-)

We're off out tonight and then off to Fiji on Saturday for some awesome beach time (God I hope the weather is good).

OK gotta go... more beer to be drunk and all that.
