Hi Everyone,

We're now in Christchurch, South New Zealand. The folks here must have known I was coming because as I walked down the street from our hotel I saw a sign outside an Indian restaurant called 'Two Fat Indians' that said:

Free T-Shirt to anyone who can finish our Suicide Curry.

No-one taunts me in the street like that! Of course I can eat it! So I prepared myself with a few beers beforehand and then last night I went in for the challenge. Needless to say, this was not a meal I expected to enjoy much but if anyone can eat volcanic curry, it's me. So I ate the lot. All of it.

I felt a bit rough this morning.

However, the T-shirt is mine and they're going to add my name to a list of folks who managed it: Tom 'Ring of Fire' Crawley. Hehe. We've made a video diary of this so I'll put it on Facebook when I get round to it.

OK, we've rented a care for tomorrow and the day after so we can get out and about.
