The first weekend in January we had the most fantastic weekend at a lovely place called Ourimbah, about a two hour train journey north of Sydney. We stayed there with some family. Our first evening with John and Barb we had a proper aussie bbq!! T bone steaks... the works! The following day we went to the Australian reptile park, saw all the creatures and snakes to look out for so they don't kill us! Saw my first kangeroo and Tom was very impressed by the size of the Galapagus Turtles (which he thought were Rhinos!). We had fish and chips looking out over the nicest views we have seen in Australia! We were introduced to 'Kenny' the famous porter loo comedian! After meeting their son and daughter in law and their adorable grandsons we heading back to Sydney fully refuelled and refreshed!
