Well we have made it to the tip of Australia, after leaving Musgrave Station Roadhouse we travelled up to Archer River Station where we camped up for a night and then drove though to Cape York. We stayed at Loyalty Beach Caravan Park which was really nice and we enjoyed some spectacular sunsets. We spent a week at Cape York, driving up to the Tip and also doing a day trip to Thursday Island. After leaving Cape York we made our way south and visited Weipa for a couple of days and experienced some quite hot weather. We then drove over some very extreme 4x4 tracks to go across to Bathurst Bay for 2 days before the wind came up and nearly blew us off the beach. That was our cue to leave and so we again tackled the track to make our way to Endeavour Falls where we had left our van. An overnight stay and then down to Cairns to clean up both the car and our clothes, get the car and van serviced and now we will start to head west. Probably won't get away until after 3pm today so we will have to find a free camp for tonight and then make our way across to Karumba.
