Hola We left Buenos Aires for Puerto Madryn, here we took a tour to see penguins, sea lions and elephant seals. Its was so strange to be standing in a hot desert-like landscape staring a penguin in the face. We also saw some funny looking Armadillos running along in the car park. Hola Amigos! Here it is...the first blog entry from Argentina! Lets start from the beginning... We left Sao Paulo and got an overnight bus directly to Foz do Iguazu (the Brazilian side of Iguazu falls). We wasted no time and visited the falls that day. They were very impressive, however they could not be compared to the Argentinian side where you can get right up close to the waterfalls and you stand directly above the main one- The Devils Throat. After two months, and travelling over 3000 miles, we have come to the end of our journey in Brazil. Our last stop has been here in Sao Paulo. As my brother has a friend in Sao Paulo, we had a unique opportunity to live in a house in the middle of the city and also in a house deep in the jungle by the sea. Bom Dia Everybody! We realise, and are very sorry, that we are slow at updating our blogs but we hope that the photos say it all! So, as you can see our New Years Eve was a lot of fun- we made a good group of friends at the hostel we were staying in and we all went to the beach where we stayed to watch the first sunrise of 2008. Hello everyone So, where to begin...we have not had time to update our website for a while because so much has happened. After Praia de Forte we headed inland to a place called Lencois. Here we went into caves and swam under waterfalls. But it was when we were in Lencois that we realised we had both had our cards copied (probably in Praia de Forte) and some lovely person was spending all our hard earned cash.
