Hi All, We have just spent what seemed like an eternity uploading the new pictures of Udaipur, we have got some really good ones, hope you enjoy looking at them.
Anna
Namaste! We are having a great time in Udaipur, we are staying in a really nice hotel with an amazing rooftop restaurant where you can see the whole city. We went to the City Palace yesterday, which is the biggest in Rajasthan, it was awesome. It is a bit cold at night, about 19 degrees C, sounds boiling I know, but we have been wrapped up in blankets with socks on at night, I think we'll get hypothermia when we get back to England! Only 10 days of our travels left, it has gone way too quickly, but I think we're ready to come home now. Looking forward to Chrimbo! x x x

Hi all, Today we have been to Aguada Fort, and had a long drive around the coastal area of North Goa. I've added some more pics to the Goa album so have a look if you please. We are flying to Udaipur tomorrow and have found another nice place to stay, though we will miss the nice staff and residency at The Villa Anjuna. We will have a look around the Venice of the east as it is known, before going to Jaipur, Agra then Delhi. We have also sent postcards today but my thinking is we will probably see you in person before you get them as a combination of Indian slowness and The Royal Mail at Christmas do their best to mess things up. Anyway enjoy the pictures. P.S. I like England's World Cup draw, but the Swedes are never easy, and Paraguay are South American and we always struggle with that style of footy. But If we play like we know we can we will cruise it, after all FIFA have placed us 2nd favorites behind Brazil, now lets live up to it eh? Anyone wanna go to Germany next year??

"Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin ran away, The Batmobile lost it's wheel, on the M1 motorway".... I digress. Yuletide greetings to all, I'm sure it's Crimbo crazy at home, but it's hard to imagine, though the sweet staff at our hotel have put in a tacky tree with annoying lights with accompanying sound, which is reminding me of the festivities that are due to us when we return. Anywhow, I have just spent a couple of hours uploading pics from India of Chennai and Goa, what are you waiting for, go and have a gander! (Also reloaded some from Singapore which for some reason couldn't be viewed in the zoom mode)Hope everyone is well, hear from you soon. Keep the messages coming, we love to read them!

Hey guys, thanks for the postcard it's in pride of place on my fridge. Everything is good here, we're steadily getting ready for christmas. Bought our tree yesterday; i made the mistake of letting Rich pick it out and now my living room has been taken over by what i can only describe as an Ent! we had to cut half of it off to fit it in the f*@$%#g door! We've gotten over it and its actually quite pretty with decorations on it, but we've agreed that I'M buying the turkey! We're also having problems with the lack of a dining table and are facing the prospect of sitting on the floor and eating Xmas dinner eastern style. Funnily enough, Rich isn't too happy about it! We've just started working on promoting Rich's dad's new TV project - a nationwide 8Ball pool tournament! (i'm doing it in my spare time cos one of us has to keep the cash flowing). It's all very exciting, will give you more details when i see ya. Jaffa Cake has got herself a permenant job as a marketing coordinator for a company near Wycombe, and rumour has it that the Gregster has managed to grab himself a girlfriend! (although i haven't actually spoken to him to confirm it!!!). It's like the world has turned upside down while you've been away! love & kisses xxxxxxxxxxxxx me

So sorry I missed you guys this morning, the jet-lag still has a grip on me! Thanks a lot for all the tips, I'm sure they'll all come in handy. Enjoy Goa and good luck with the last leg of your tour!!
Tom And Anna
Greetings all, we have made it safe and sound to Chennai, formerly Madras, and the weather is appalling! We took longer getting here than normal, the flight had to avoid a cyclone off the Bay of Bengal, but that bad weather off the back of it is now in Chennai, so we are going to leave very soon, and either head south or west, depending on how things go at the travel office today. The hostel we are in at the moment is quite homely and pretty clean and well looked after. Anyway we will add pics and messages as we go. Speak soon.

Dear Anna and Tom - Thanks for your postcard. Sunny beaches, warm sea - what bliss! 4pm here, after over a week of frost it is now dark, pouring with cold rain. Hope to arrange better weather for you at Christmas.
I see you are now in India. The last time our family was there was in 1866 when your great-great-great-grandfather was there with his wife and young family with the 2nd Battalion, 10th Foot, Lincolnshire Regimentin Calcutta, Madras, Bangalore and Secunderabad. They travelled in covered waggons and produced their babies wherever they happened to be - no delicate Victorian ladies! Have been following your photos and messages and hope you are both recovered from whatever ailed you in Thailand - ready to pick up some fresh germs in India? So looking forward to seeing you at Christmas. Lots of Love - Gran

Hi Tom and Anna, Just seen your last batch of photos - The Beach looks absolutely fabulous! Sorry to hear you have both been a bit under the weather, but are hopefully on the road to recovery now. I think someone was pulling your legs about snow in Dehli - the forecast for the next 5 days shows 77-78 during the day and about 53 at night. Anyway, take care and it will be interesting to see what you make of India. The weather here is pretty miserable and has been very cold. Too much in the way of Christmas hullabaloo for our liking already, but it will be great to see you for the festive season - cannot believe you will be home in just over 3 weeks!! Speak to you soon. G&S xxxxxxxxxxxxx

To Tom and Anna, glad to see you guys are still up and at it, thanks anna for the update, hope you two are feeling better than you have, you certainly looked it in the photos as least. I find it hard to believe it will be snowing in delhi but hey! there you go. Be careful in india, but I am sure as long as you stay cautious you will have a great time, sorry, sounding like your mum! Anyway, keep on posting those photos for me to drool over. And to all your friends back home, I would so love to have a cold christmas! Believe you me, after years of sweating through xmas, including just sitting there eating lunch, I would soooo enjoy not having too! We can swap! Anyway, good travelling! Love Helen, the ever so slightly tanned aussie

Hey guys, sorry to hear you've not been feeling well Thomas, Megs had Dengue Fever dont worry youll get over it! Youll be right as rain for the unbelievably crappy weather! My advice? Dont come back! Its freezing cold and London has gone Xmas mad tourists and crazy Oxford St shoppers everywhere! Seriously though; cant wait to see you guys, feels like youve been away forever!
Have a great time in India. Rich says make sure you go to see the Taj Mahal, and dont use taxis youre not sure about Rich nearly got abducted!!! Best bet is to ask the hotel / hostel to recommend one.
All is ok with us! I finally found a job (earning mucho dollar) and Rich is sitting on his arse at home claiming that nothing happens in television until New Year! So were looking forward to a fun family-less Christmas! (just the way we like it). To give the boy his due, he has been freelancing for his dad so I cant complain. Might even stretch to buying you guys a pint when I see ya! (some things do change!)
So, back to the daily grind but take care of yourselves and bring me back pressies! Love and kisses xxx Cat
