Hey guys
Liking the message board I didn’t know you could even do that.
Well the fist three days of my course are done its so chilled out have finished at 1.30 every day and not starting till 10. They do a few things different in life saving over here, no real political stuff like with ours. Just get the daig person out the water, they even teach you defensive moves to get the person off of you, its all quite ruff a n ready. The kid’s parks they are good n proper too. The weather was better today we have been having a storm, so I climbed the nearest mounting it was still raining in some of the pic’s so they didn’t come out too good but on a sunny day I bet the view is awesome. I will be up there again, as soon as the sun is out. I am still waiting on my bike to arrive so I can have some “hard out” adventures.
I have found the best café yet, two chicken and lettuce sarnies and two muesli flapjacks for £3, its is right next to Massey aquatic centre (where I am undertaking my course)
I think I am going to have to get a car at the moment as the public transport does not seem too great. And some of the best riding I have seen is on the other side of the bay so it would be almost time to come back by the time I get there! Bit of a shame. I have been looking for places to live now haven’t had much luck yet. I’m kind of torn between a few different areas. (Work) (The velodrome) and the good HILLY ride they must go up for at least 3 or more miles. Not incredibly high because they start at the sea. I am pretty much settled in at the moment, just need to get my bike sorted and I will be a bit happier. Looking forward to starting some work and meeting some people! I haven’t explored much as everything is so spaced out!
