Day1 of the South America trip begins! Arrived in Cartagena very easily direct from Fort Lauderdale this afternoon and dropped our bags at el edificio conquistador, changed into bathing suits, and hit the streets to explore. The locals on the beach very pushy individuals made our afternoon quite a luxurious one with massages, mas cervezas y crangaje! But great memories nonetheless and very excited about what this trip will bring :) dinner was very typical Colombian: pescado, salad, y tostones. Tostones!! Mmm Alejandro's new obsession and mine too !
