They did not have any rooms available so they sent us to a Best Western about 10 minutes away at the same price as staying on the base. It''s not ideal but its got a little pool and nice rooms. Hey everyone! We drove west today. We were not sure where to go so we stopped at a Vistor Center in Yucca Valley and gathtered a bunch of info. A lady suggested a Street Festival in Palm Springs they have every Thursday at 7:00 pm. Hey Guys! It rained this afternoon! The sky has looked threatening all day. We drove around some residential areas that were suggested to us. Then drove up north abit into some mountains to visit Sun City active adult community. It stormed in Tucson while we were there, so we missed it. Evendently it is Monsoon season here- July thru August.
