Ushuaia: ça y est nous y sommes. C'était notre but, et nous avons atteint ce bout du monde... Ah bah ça fait loin quand même ( surtout en bus!). Après une découverte de la ville nous avons été rendre visite aujourd'hui à des amis sur une petite ile à coté: des pingouins... Des cousins de ceux de la péninsule Valdés. Plus on descend, plus on se rend compte que les jours rallongent. Nous observons depuis notre chambre le coucher de soleil sur la baie d'Ushuaia et ce spectacle tarde à venir. 23h et il ne fait toujours pas nuit. Dans la journée c'est les 4 saisons en 24 h: pluie, vent et soleil... C'est pas simple ici.

We made it to the end of the world woohoo!!! We are in Ushuaia, the most austral city in the world!!! A bit far it is, yes, but that was our last journey by bus! The city is quite pleasant actually, industrial for sure (because it's a low-tax area for companies) but also charming & with a special atmosphere. From here, you can enjoy a nice cruise to Cape Horn in 3 days or if you have won the lottery, you can go for a 10-day cruise to Antartica! For us, that will be a few hours with our penguins friends instead: some Magellanic ones like in Puerto Madryn but also some Papua penguins & an intruder as well: one king penguin who seems to be lost in the middle of the other ones. He's been standing there for the last 10 days doing nothing, this is quite interesting & unusual to see.
Here you never know what to wear as in the summer you can have wind, sun, rain at the same time. It can be roasting or freezing within minutes, but I guess it has its charm...
