So we arrange to meet richard at 9am the next day for a quick breakfast, to go to tianmen square then to forbidden city told them i would not go but will see them after as i had already been there. He like you can go round it again no thanks it was busy and once is enough. So i go with them to tianmen square and we have our first group picture taken, me and eileen at the end with all the couple hugging etc... yuke. I walk with them to the entrance of the forbid...

We meet richard at 7am and we board a bus for 2 hour drive to the great wall of china, some of the places on the way was interesting but it starts to rain guess what rain coat back at the hotel lol. We arrive and its freezing!!! So i got up and exited the hotel around 9am to go and find the joining hotel for the tour. The hotel tried to charge me for a stain on the towel's told them to shove it, apparently getting lip balm on a towel means you have to pay for it. I just said dont you wash it, paid my bill and left told them if they charge my card i will get the payment rejected, not a good start to the morning. I then was doing the long walk to the subway when a guy on a trike comes up ...

I awoke at 7am and really didnt want to go outside!!!! It took me two hours and lots of convicing to get my arse out of the door. I had a shower and then when dressed went to see the forbidden city as it was close. So i went and there was masses of chinese tourists it was lines and lines of people. I got my ticket and went through it was masses of court yards and empty buildings. It was nice but there was too many people, found a place to sit and drank water wat...

So we touched down in beijing at 10am local time, and it was pissing down. I didnt sleep at all so watched three movies dont remember so they werent that good, i think one was bridesmaids, and waited over and hour to get our bags from the baggage reclaim. I got the train into the centre of Beijing but it was a nightmare..... i arrived and could not find the hotel at all. No taxi's would take me until one stopped and said 100 yen which is so damn expensive for t...
