An early start this morn to wilsons promontory national park. The most southern point of the Australian mainland. Has 130km of coastline, granite headlands, mountains, forests and fern gullies.
We first stopped at a random location and walked through some bush to see if we could see some kangaroos and emus in the wild.....which we did. It was amazing. There were loads all hopping around :) saw some red back spiders too without getting bitten :) this whole animal thing is growing on me slowly lol.
We then went on to do a hike along cliff edge to pillar point. The most southern point in aus. It wasn't too bad a hike and def worth the view....was pretty hot though. Then made our way down to squeaky beach. Supposedly squeaked when u walk on it...I didn't notice though. Was a really nice beach apart from loads of dead birds everywhere :(. Chilled on the beach n had lunch before we head on to Melbourne. Woohoo
There was also a point in the park where u could see two oceans from
One point....the pacific and south.
Got to Melbourne around 7ish n chilled for the rest of the eve....was shattered.
