First day in cairns and not to early a start so a bit of time to look around town. First things first....lunch. Aus is a lot more expensive then I thought so we need to budget. And also no more getting spoilt with cooked meals by Tara :(. Gonna miss those.

We got to meet the new 11people too. Felt weird having so many people together but they all seemed nice. Just gonna take a bit of time getting to know their names.

Our first trip on this tour was to Kuranda. This is a little town in a tropical rainforest. Had loads of shops n Market stalls n also a koala garden. Yep finally I got to hold a koala. Was so cool even though I got a koala scar :( they have really sharp claws but so cuddly n smelly lol. Saw some other animals in there too :)

Went back to the hotel to shower n change before Tjupukai theatre show. These are some aboriginal people in cairns who put on a show for us. There were some weird flying bugs in there but the show was really cool. They played the dijari doo and even let us try. I couldn't get anything out lol.

The evening was really nice. Yummy food too....well the dessert hehe.
